SM 2021: From the eyes of the organizors
La Bamba organized the National Championship for the Open and the Womens division this weekend at Kviberg and boy was is fun. For the first time we sent both an open team and a womens team to nationals. We are so thankful for our clubs' growth and were very happy to host the ultimate community here in Gothenburg during this very sunny weekend! And a special thank you to Stenungsund who set up their cafe and kept the players fed and with cool drinks in their hand.
Congratulations to SUFC's Valkyria for maintaining the gold another year in the women's division, as well as their open team Odin 1 who won bronze in the open division, as well first place for spirit! All of SUFC's teams were in the top 3 for their division in terms of spirit. KFUM Örebro women's team fought hard for the silver while winning the spirit in their division! And a congratulations to the Raging Seagulls who took the gold place home in the open division this year after a very tight game with KFUM Örebro who took the silver. And a special mention as well to Frövi and La Bamba (women) who also placed in the top 3 in terms of spirit for their divisions as well.
A huge thanks to everyone who made it out to Kviberg to play and help make this tournament possible. We hope to host you again in Gothenburg soon!
